RECYCLABLE ALUMINIUM PACKAGING: A SAFE BET FOR COSMETICS BRANDS

The English cosmetics brand Juni has just launched a new product for lip care and this time has once again opted for a recyclable aluminum container, in its commitment to the environment and against the use of plastic packaging.

As usual, the product contains no microplastics, is 100% vegan, 75% organic, transgenic, gluten-free and fragrance-free. It is also completely plastic-free and is housed in palm-sized recyclable aluminum packaging.

The brand was founded by makeup artist Madeleine White and previously developed a lipstick that came in 100% recyclable aluminum. Its founder says that one of the reasons that led her to opt for aluminum containers was the fact that “I have realized the huge problem of plastic in the beauty industry”.

“More than 142 billion units of packaging are produced each year worldwide in the beauty sector, 95% of beauty packaging is discarded after a single use and only 14% is transported to a recycling centre. There is no such thing as ‘good plastic’. concludes.
