Unilever launched its new certified natural aerosol deodorant brand, Schmidt’s, with its first campaign in Australia and New Zealand. The new campaign was created by independent creative agency Emotive.

The announcement comes weeks after Unilever ANZ received B-Corp status, making it one of the largest companies to receive the award for purpose-driven business. It is one of 460 companies in Australia and New Zealand that have already received B-Corp certification to date.

For his part, John McKeon, marketing director at Unilever, added: “Currently a natural spray deodorant is not available on the market, however, most Australians prefer a spray deodorant, so we are proud to lead the way with Australia’s first certified natural spray deodorant. Australians can now enjoy a natural deodorant in their favorite format. Bringing this to life with Emotive has been a fun journey and we look forward to continuing to innovate to bring new formats within the natural category.“.
