Every Can Counts has announced a partnership with Molson Coors Brewing Company. Together they will work to promote and encourage can recycling to reduce environmental impact and raise awareness of the importance of sustainability. This alliance seeks to increase the amount of cans that are recycled and decrease the amount that end up in landfills or in the ocean.

Molson Coors, known for producing popular brands such as Carling, Coors and Madri Exceptional, teamed up with the non-profit organization Every Can Counts to promote beverage can recycling awareness at events and festivals. This collaboration will also include beverage can manufacturers and the recycling industry in general. Together, they hope to foster a recycling culture among consumers and reduce the environmental impact caused by waste.

Molson Coors will be the first brewing company to join Every Can Counts as an annual financial partner in the UK, with the aim of supporting its mission to increase recycling rates by inspiring and empowering people to recycle more empty cans at events and festivals around the world.

By 2021, the brewing company decided to completely eliminate the use of plastic in its multipacks and opt for packaging and sleeves made from recyclable cardboard.

Kate Macnamara, who is in charge of corporate affairs at Molson Coors, said the work done by Every Can Counts is exceptional in promoting recycling and getting consumers more actively involved through positive messages and interesting initiatives. In addition, they are proud to be a financial partner of this organization.

Our collaboration with Every Can Counts will allow us to carry out more creative and innovative actions at festivals and events throughout the UK.

Every Can Counts program director Chris Latham-Warde expressed his excitement to start 2024 with a new partnership, especially with a company as renowned and globally recognized as Molson Coors.

It is wonderful to see how large companies in the industry are taking the initiative in encouraging their customers to recycle beverage cans during events and festivals. We hope to collaborate with them to raise awareness and promote recycling throughout the country.
