Spanish consumers continue to buy soft drink bottles and the trend looks set to increase. Sales are registering more profit than in 2020, i.e. the sector does not seem to be affected by the pandemic.

The #DrinkCan has a number of characteristics that confirm it is the perfect product to consume. It is good for the consumer to have it in the pantry or refrigerator because it is lightweight, keeps the product in it, and is easy to stack with the other containers, improving their actual recyclability and at the same time considerably reducing their environmental footprint.

Like the vast majority of countries, Spain has a huge vicious circle with water, but now regulatory advances are against packaging companies that do not use foil and offer old containers for reuse. All this, together with the social sensitivity on this issue, creates a commercial format called ‘Circular Economy’.
