Ecoembes’ training platform, The Circular Campus has just launched a free course to promote the circular economy and the sustainability of e-commerce packaging.
The course is called ‘Recommendations for the optimization of packaging and packaging for e-commerce’, focuses on a guide created jointly by Aecoc, Ihobe and Ecoembes, and is aimed specifically at companies that distribute packaged products through this channel. In it, companies will be able to identify opportunities for improvement in packaging to make it more sustainable while ensuring its protective properties, inviolability, storage, ease of handling and return.
On this platform, Ecoembes has also made available to the directors of Marketing and Communication of interested companies online training ‘Turn your packaging into ambassadors of your environmental commitment’ where they will find a wide range of recommendations in order to communicate the environmental improvements made on packaging and to make these an element of value to the consumer.
In addition, this course offers a battery of general recommendations for any professional sector and a series of sheets adapted to the specific needs of the different professional sectors, such as large multi-product stores, fashion and accessories, electrical appliances, home and garden, perfumery and courier/packaging.
Finally, both courses are in addition to the five courses already available on the platform that address issues related to the circular economy and the sustainability of packaging, such as eco-design, eco-labelling and environmental impact analysis of products. These are free, self-study courses lasting between three and five hours.
