To extol the gastronomic value as well as the industrial canning heritage is the aim of the route that the food truck ‘Cata la lata’ will travel throughout Galicia from 20 and 27 September. Specifically, ‘Cata la lata’ will visit several Galician locations offering recipes based on canned fish and seafood in order to promote these foods.

The food truck ‘Cata la lata’ will be located in the spaces near the most emblematic places related to the canning industry in 8 Galician municipalities where tastings based on canned fish and seafood and recipes will be offered.

Specifically, the itinerary will have stops in Celeiro, Cariño; Muros; Ribeira, Cambados, Illa de Arousa, Cangas and finally in Vigo. All these spaces will be recorded in order to produce a documentary that will be disseminated through social networks, as well as Youtube and Vimeo channels.

This promotional action is part of the collaboration agreement between the Consellería do Mar de la Xunta de Galicia and Anfaco-Cecopesca for the promotion and improvement of the commercialization of canned fish and seafood during this year.
