Unimaq, a Peruvian company specializing in light machinery and part of the Ferreycorp corporation, has formalized a strategic alliance with OKL Group, which becomes its new exclusive agent for North, Central, and South America. This collaboration aims to strengthen Unimaq’s presence in the region and improve service to its current and potential clients.
OKL Group, recognized for its expertise in the industrial sector and its network of contacts in Latin America, has been trained in Unimaq’s equipment portfolio, which includes leading brands such as Caterpillar, Carmix, Wacker Neuson, Shacman, SEM, and Konecranes. The alliance will allow Unimaq to expand its reach in key markets and offer closer and more efficient support to its users.
Alberto Parodi de la Cuadra, general manager of Unimaq, emphasized that this partnership represents an important step in the company’s international expansion strategy. “With OKL Group, we seek to consolidate our presence in Latin America and provide a more comprehensive service to our clients”, Parodi stated.
Unimaq, with 25 years of operations, has achieved sales exceeding US$160 million in 2023 and holds a market share of nearly 50% in Caterpillar light equipment in Peru. The company offers solutions in machinery sales and rentals, as well as specialized technical support in sectors such as construction, mining, agriculture, energy, and industry.
With this new alliance, Unimaq reinforces its commitment to innovation, quality, and customer service throughout Latin America.
