The multinational Holding GmbH, based in Rangendingen, Germany, has acquired the Hungarian packaging manufacturer Matrametal Kft, which specializes in the production of aluminum aerosol cans and aluminum tubes.
TUBEX has been the packaging specialist for aluminum aerosol cans, aluminum tubes, aluminum cartridges and plastic tubes for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food and technology markets for over 70 years. With 7 future production sites, Tubex Group will have a worldwide capacity of 700 million aerosol cans and 1.6 billion aluminum tubes and will employ more than 1,700 people.
Cornelius Grupp, CEO of TUBEX Holding GmbH, notes that “the acquisition of Matrametal complements the strategic orientation of the TUBEX Group in terms of location, customers and market”.
