The first mineral water in a bottle made of aluminum has been launched in the Brazilian market.

The company Spa Mineral Saúde pela Água has launched a new alkaline mineral water with bicarbonate in a unique and distinctive package.

A new start-up company called Spa Água Mineral has launched its innovative product, Spa Mineral, a bicarbonated alkaline mineral water packaged in aluminum containers, on the Brazilian market. This innovative proposal highlights the qualities of aluminum packaging, such as its lightness, visual appeal and ability to maintain a cool temperature for a longer period of time. This is the first time that a natural alkaline mineral water with bicarbonate is presented in a 500 ml bottle with and without gas, with a screw cap and the possibility of refilling, reusing and recycling, making it a more sustainable product.

The company imports the aluminum bottle from Patagonia and the screw cap from Italy, claiming that both have ideal properties for mineral water. Tests have been conducted in the United States, Italy and Brazil to ensure that there is no aluminum migration in the water, and the bottle is environmentally certified by Eureciclo, a Brazilian company.

Mineral water from a spa contains beneficial health properties due to its content of bicarbonate, lithium and other minerals. Among its advantages are the prevention of diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer’s, the detoxification of the arteries and its effect as a natural antacid, relieving stomach problems such as heartburn and poor digestion. According to Adriano Martins, executive director of the company, this product is presented as a premium option in the Brazilian market compared to other international brands such as Panna, Perrier and Voss.
