Steve joined APEAL in 2018 as Sustainability Manager and has been a key player in different projects related to packaging steel. His work has included topics such as recyclability, recycling rates, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Product Environmental Footprint (PEF).
“I’m looking forward to building on the industry’s already strong sustainability credentials and demonstrating the invaluable role that packaging steel will play in shaping a more circular future
“, stated Steve.
Finally, Luc Brantjes, president of APEAL, reiterated that “during his 5 years at APEAL Steve has demonstrated leadership, expertise and passion for circular thinking. We are delighted that he will be leading APEAL at this time of great innovation, both in packaging sustainability with PPWR, and in the steel industry with the transition to greener steel.”
