VICTORIA CEPASÚCHILL, THE SPECIAL EDITION IN A CAN FOR ALL SOULS’ DAY
Legend has it that its yellow petals guide the dead during their visit to the world of the living. The marigold flower is part of the culture and tradition of Mexico, so it will be the protagonist of the new flavor of Victoria beer that has decided to bring to market a special edition can for the Day of the Dead or All Souls Day.
This flower is grown in approximately 14 states including Puebla, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Michoacan, Oaxaca and State of Mexico; who year after year achieve 15,000 tons of this beautiful Mexican symbol.
Cerveza Victoria’s campaign, ‘El sabor del reencuentro’ (The Taste of Reunion), seeks to highlight one of Mexico’s most emblematic traditions. According to the company, Victoria Cempasúchil represents the taste of reunion with loved ones, with those who are and with those who return each year to visit their altar.
This limited edition beer has as its main ingredient the extract of this ancestral flower. The beige foam brings out the characteristic aroma of marigold. It will be available throughout the Day of the Dead season in a 473-milliliter can.
In addition, the company will select among the participants, 240 dedications addressed to those who are no longer with us to be included in the special edition cans. The rest of the messages will be shared on the brand’s website.
