The Roeslein company has just announced a new appointment to its top management. Gangwei Wu is now the new vice president of global manufacturing. For the past ten years, Gangwei has been leading the company’s Asian operations, growing the Shanghai team to 100 employees and generating more than $30 million in revenue.
The new manager, upon learning of his appointment, says, “I plan to leverage my experience working with the Shanghai location to replicate that success and growth in all of the international offices. For any new location to be successful, you need someone to act as a bridge who understands their culture, their values and how they run a business. Once you have this bridge and understanding, you can slowly introduce the company’s culture and politics in a way that is absorbed rather than forced.”
For his part, Rob Campbell, president of manufacturing division confirms that “since his early days, he has led the Shanghai operations, even during the pandemic when he was stuck in the U.S. He had trained his team on how to run operations, and they were able to step in and lead the ship with him overseas. This type of leadership and commitment is what we are excited to see him bring to the table in his new role.”
In addition to overseeing the Asian operations, Gangwei will now provide leadership for Roeslein’s other international manufacturing facilities in Debno, Poland, and São Paulo, Brazil. Gangwei’s primary focus will be on Procurement, Project Management and Engineering Design Coordination. Roeslein looks forward to your guidance and support as the company continues to expand in South America and Europe.
