Press Metal has received Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V2 certification (2022) for aluminum smelting, refining and recovery at its plant in Bintulu, Malaysia. In addition, the plant was recertified under the ASI V3 Performance Standard in September 2023.
The CoC V2 Standard ensures that materials produced at the plant comply with responsible practices throughout the supply chain. It also ensures that appropriate policies are followed to address issues such as corruption and human rights, promoting responsible sourcing.
The audit was performed by DNV Business Assurance Services UK Ltd. During the audit a minor non-conformance was identified which Press Metal will resolve with an action plan to be reviewed in future audits.
