ORBIS Corporation, a leader in reusable packaging solutions, has announced that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Creative Techniques, Inc. (CTI), headquartered in Orion Township, Michigan. ORBIS is a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1984, CTI’s business focuses on the design and manufacture of custom packaging, including freestanding trays, container support materials, precision racking support materials, seat pallets and kit trays. It offers high-pressure injection molding, structural foam molding and state-of-the-art prototyping capabilities.
ORBIS also acquired the CTI facility, which includes 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 22,000 square feet of warehouse space. Approximately 110 employees will join the ORBIS team in connection with the transaction.
