Ocean52 expanded its ‘No Plastic Water’ bottled water range with the launch of its new “eternally recyclable” bottle. Among the benefits of the new bottle are that it can be infinitely recycled because it is made of aluminum, as well as being easily refillable because it is a rigid container and incorporates a cap; it also keeps the water cooler for a longer period of time.
Santi Mie set a goal to challenge plastic pollution and worked hard to create something unique: the ‘NoPlasticWater’ bottle. A Greenpeace study found that more than 12 million tons of plastic end up in the oceans each year, so this invention could significantly reduce those numbers. Its design makes it easy to carry and transport, and helps to keep the water cooler for a longer period of time. This container is easily refillable and fully recyclable.
For his part, Santi Mier, a marketing expert who worked for a long period at Danone, developed his Ocean 52 project and presented his bottled waters in aluminum cans to the market. It was in April 2019 when the brand officially launched this range of natural water with a light mineralization, from Galea (Asturias).
