After waiting more than five years for the construction of a new canning plant, NutriSource® made announcements about the launch of its new factory at the facility of manufacturer Tuffy’s Treats Company.
Brilhado Emprendimiento will make the most important expansion for the company in recent times, with an investment of close to US$ 20 million, and will have an area of 45,000 square feet. The site will create a total of 45 direct jobs and its expansion will increase manufacturing capabilities for pet food products.
The facility is a Green Globe certified plant with state-of-the-art can inspection and X-ray equipment, three receivers for sterilization, and the capacity to produce up to 300 13 oz, 5.5 oz and 3 oz steel or aluminum cans per minute. The plan is for annual capacity to exceed 65 million.
At the moment, there was no explanation as to why wet pet food production has had trouble keeping up in the United States.
Hamilton, NutriSource’s vice president of years, says, “Our investments in this new operation are in direct response to requests from distributors, retailers and customers looking for a more consistent and diverse supply of dog and cat foods. We are committed to our stores and are excited to work with them to offer more nutritious products to our furry friends around the world.
This company launched in 2020, showcasing its spectacular 174,000 square foot facility for ingesting the safest, most efficient and versatile pet foods. It met and exceeded the stringent requirements of the animal feed market through sustainable operations that reduce the environmental footprint, electrochemical waste and other energy waste of these facilities.
Like all of the company’s products, the new wet food will be available at independent pet stores to ensure that your pets are nourished. Neighborhood stores are better equipped to help pet owners make the best decisions for their pets, and their passion for pet welfare mirrors the corporate world’s passion for local business.
