Discover Bavaria’s new limited edition cans produced by Canpack and immerse yourself in an exclusive journey through the Netherlands.
Royal Swinkels Family Brewers decided to commission CANPACK, with whom they have worked together for more than 20 years, to produce special, limited cans for their most famous beer, Bavaria. These cans feature iconic images of the Netherlands and its brewing tradition, inspired by classic Delft pottery and the paintings of Vincent van Gogh. With them, consumers can take a journey through typical Dutch scenes while enjoying their favorite beer.
The trip starts at the Bavarian brewery located in the village of Lieshout, in the Brabant region. This brewery has been owned and operated by seven generations of the Swinkels family since 1719 and has remained in the same location all this time.
In Holland, beer is an important part of the rituals of conviviality and is celebrated with the sound of clinking mugs and foam covering their surface. During a trip through tulip-filled fields, you can see the iconic windmills and picturesque bridges over the canals that are distinctive features of the Dutch countryside.
According to Lesław Mika, Group Sales Director, the cans they manufacture are more than just objects, as they seek to create an emotional bond with the brand and enhance the drinking experience. In addition, they pride themselves on going beyond the conventional with their technical innovations.
Bavaria uses its Quadromix™ technology on cans to print four different designs in a single production run. This technique is perfect for creating special editions and collectibles like the one shown in this example.
The final feature that makes these cans unique is the inclusion of the matte varnish, known to be used in CANPACK designs. This detail enhances their high-end appearance and provides a soft-touch feel that perfectly complements the high-quality artwork printed on them.
