Mahou launches its first unfiltered Cinco Estrellas beer in cans

The Madrid brewery Mahou launched a new product on the market called Cinco Estrellas Sin Filtrar. This beer is a lager that is brewed differently from conventional recipes as no filters have been used during its production.

After brewing, the flavorings and alcohol are grouped together to complete their development, which allows the malt and hop nuances to balance each other, in addition to having a smooth aroma and a soft texture on the palate.

The recently launched special beer has an alcohol content of 5.5%, to be consumed at a temperature between 3 and 6 degrees. The ritual of serving this drink requires that the container be rotated 180° without shaking it, while it is being served in a wide-mouthed pint glass.

Mahou Cinco Estrellas Sin Filtrar is a variety of beer that has been distributed throughout Spain since March 1. Initially, it will be available in cans, but by the second half of the year it will be available in 33 cl bottles as well.

Emmanuel Pouey, head of Marketing at Mahou San Miguel, highlighted that “this launch represents the expansion of the Mahou Cinco Estrellas family, a beer with which we want to reinforce our leadership, demonstrating our desire to continue innovating with high quality products and incorporating new flavors and beer experiences”.
