This year a new edition of the annual meeting of the Spanish Metallographic Association (AME) was held in La Rioja, at the Franco-Españolas Wineries. As in previous editions, members of different companies belonging to AME and representing all sectors of the metal packaging and closure industry – manufacturers of aerosols, beverage cans, crown caps, lids, canning containers, metal plate printing, etc. – attended the event.
The objective of this meeting is, as every year, to take stock of the previous year and work for the future, joining forces to seek the best solutions for the industry, always taking into account the environmental commitment.
In addition, the day also left a very emotional moment with a tribute for his career to one of the associates, José Combalia, a family business that celebrates 100 years of activity in the sector of the crown cork Jose Maria Planas.
