Once again, the International Metal Decorating and Packaging Association (IMDPA) will hold its annual conference in the United States in a new location. Specifically, it is scheduled for October 4-6 in Itasca, Illinois, near Chicago.

Among the most important issues to be addressed are sustainability, logistics and regulatory compliance. IMDPA has assembled for this year’s conference in line with the general session offering of a keynote speaker and a financial analyst. “Staying true to the goal of presenting the latest technological advances, we organized the ever-popular working sessions that have been streamlined for flat and two-piece sheet decorating.” added IMDPA.

The first speaker Rob Clark, head of innovation at Anheuser-Busch InBev, will talk about sustainability while Mike Rigan, head of relationship development at Transact Technologies will address another hot topic, supply chain logistics and its future challenges. The third session focuses on can manufacturing and supports our expanded partnership in relation to metal packaging.

“The IMDPA is dedicated to improving and encouraging advancements in metal decorating and packaging. IMDPA strives to provide the metal decorating and packaging industry with valuable valuable information and opportunities to network with other industry personnel.” the organization pointed out.

The program will also address other issues including Wall Street’s perspective on metal packaging, sustainability by the Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI) Leaders, best practices, digital printing, new printing equipment, customer branding initiatives, printing equipment improvements and coating developments.
