The GulfCan Conference, which brings together can makers with industry suppliers from around the world, has announced that it is changing dates. Specifically, the new date announced will be May 24-26 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The organization has preferred to postpone this international conference to the end of May as a result of the current Covid-19 pandemic, pending an improvement in the global health alert. Also note that the Omicron strain has spread rapidly and has made travel plans difficult for many participants and attendees, although the United Arab Emirates is recording one of the lowest numbers of cases worldwide.

The conference maintains its previous location and will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Rd, conveniently located 15 minutes from Dubai Airport. In total there will be three days of exhibitions and technical sessions open to all attendees offering maximum networking opportunities.

Alison Prioleau, organizer of GulfCan notes that “canmakers in the Middle East are eager to reconnect with suppliers given the explosive growth of our industry last year. Regardless, we will continue to build a conference that will provide high-level information exchange and networking this coming May.”
