BEG Boutique Distillery is the first Brazilian gin brand to launch an aluminum refill bottle with a focus on conscious consumption and sustainability. The brand is following the trend of other companies who are increasingly betting on ecological and infinitely reusable packaging in their fight to conserve the environment.
In this case, the new 400 ml container is made entirely of aluminum, a reusable and infinitely recyclable material. In addition to the fact that BEG Refill helps maintain the flavor and texture of the beverage, it has the added advantage of being nine times lighter than a glass bottle, which also significantly reduces fuel consumption per volume transported.
“We wanted something that would benefit the environment and society, with the adoption of a recharging system. After all, it’s too beautiful to throw away,” says partner Arthur Flosi.
Finally, the distillery also defines itself as carbon neutral by offsetting packaging through the Eureciclo label. For every BEG Refill sold, two more containers will be recycled by cooperative associations in the country.
