Plan Verde, is the name of the police operation with which the police have managed to eradicate the cultivation of marijuana in the province of Cadiz. Three people accused of sending marijuana to Poland hidden in cans of crushed tomatoes were arrested in Jerez and Chiclana de la Frontera. The police operation was part of Plan Verde, a program aimed at eradicating marijuana cultivation in Spain.
According to the National Police, Poland has become one of the main destinations for marijuana grown in Cadiz as it is sold in that country at a much higher price.
Until now, this type of drug had never been exported from Spain using such an ingenious method, given that the boxes were filled with five kilos of crushed tomato to hide the marijuana. It has been found while preparing the shipment of two tons.
The narcotics team went to Chiclana and found 24 kilos of marijuana, which was immediately confiscated along with their two packaging machines and electronic equipment to avoid detection. It is also necessary for sports fans to know that, in addition to luxury cars and watches, there are other companies whose investigation was initiated because two Polish marijuana enthusiasts were buying large quantities.
Of the three arrested, the third is the Polish transporter who was in charge of transporting the tomato with the hidden marijuana to Poland.
