Eviosys winner in the photography category at the BAMA Awards

Eviosys, a leader in metal packaging, has been named winner of the Aerosol in Action Award in the Photography category at the annual British Aerosol Manufacturers Association (BAMA) awards.

The winning photograph, captured by Harriet Large, administrative assistant at Eviosys, shows a wind turbine in a field through the lens of an overhead aerosol component.

The image highlights the role of metal packaging as a permanent material, showing its infinite recyclability and its role within a circular economy. Not only can it be recycled into new cans, but into anything made of steel, offering infinite uses (wind turbines, rails, trains, automobiles and more), for future generations. The recyclability of metal is not limited to one product cycle, but opens up a full materials cycle.

The winning photograph exemplifies how metal meets the United Nations definition of sustainability, preserving raw material with products “that meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
