Eviosys, the company specialized in the manufacture of cans based in Las Torres de Cotillas closed 2021 with an increase in turnover. The former Mivisa increased its turnover by 35 million euros, which has allowed the company to return to profit. Specifically, the Murcian company achieved a turnover of 590 million euros last year, an increase of 6% over the same period of the previous year.

The group, which supplies the most important consumer brands with lithographed packaging and easy-open lids, has managed to achieve profits after going from a 2020 with 7 million euros in losses to the following year with a positive balance sheet and a profit portfolio of 2.2 million euros.

The company has been able to pull out muscle and face the complicated economic situation, such as the rise in raw materials and the increase in energy costs due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. However, this situation has not jeopardized the results and objectives set by the company and compliance with the contracts already signed, although the company’s production rate has been reduced.

The company is optimistic and is confident that the growth dynamic will remain constant and with positive expectations for the coming year 2023. “The planned investment policy is in line with that of recent years, which guarantees future growth possibilities,” the results sheet specifies.

To support this growth, the company made a series of industrial investments in the last two years in the middle of the year. This includes a new lithography line, new easy-open lid manufacturing lines, automation, automatic camera control and modernization of employee workspaces.
