It is already a reality, the Estrella de Levante brewery has reopened its doors. Since November 4, the Murcian brewery can be visited with six different schedules for small groups of only 30 people.

The Murcian brand also incorporates new proposals with renewed airs. All the visits include a tour of all the stages in the production of Estrella de Levante beers, from the Tasting Room, Malting, Brassage, Quality Control, Bottling and again the Tasting Room where visitors can taste all the beers produced in the factory, Estrella de Levante, Verna, Punta Este toast, the Alcohol Free beer and also some of the seasonal beers in which the brewmasters work, such as Christmas beer and other types of beers that will be released according to the season.

For Pedro Marín, general manager of Estrella de Levante, “the new factory visits are a step forward in one of the actions that we like the most. Being in direct contact with our customers is a great satisfaction and helps us a lot”. The general manager adds that “we had to stop due to the health situation and we set up the project to create the Tasting Room and the complete renovation of the visits, it has been months of preparation, as it is not easy to combine this renovation in a factory where we work 24 hours a day and seven days a week, an effort of the whole team that will be worth it”.

The tour also includes virtual content support, 360 video and the possibility, for the first time, to show visitors what happens in the heart of the factory, where all the brewing processes are carried out, thanks to the development of virtual content that reproduces the inside of the vats and boilers to assist in the most realistic way possible to the whole process, in a simple way and through a gamification process developed by computer engineers, with more than a year of work in coordination with the master brewers of Estrella de Levante. To achieve this, specific software has been developed to show all the processes so that the visitors’ experience is the best possible.

The visit ends in a completely renovated space, the new Tasting Room next to the factory, which replaces the old bar and is expected to receive 20,000 people a year where they can enjoy an experience that includes tastings with gastronomic pairings.

The new visits will be on Thursdays (6 p.m. with tasting, and 8 p.m., with tasting and pairing), Fridays (6 p.m. with tasting, and 8 p.m., with tasting and pairing) and Saturdays (11 a.m. with tasting, and 1 p.m. with tasting and pairing) until the end of the year. In 2022 there will be an extension of days, the reservation is made through the website of the brewery www.estrelladelevante.es. The Murcian brewery received more than 17,000 people in 2019. From 2022 Estrella de Levante expects to exceed this figure and receive more than 20,000 people between visits and events.
