Ecoembes, the non-profit environmental organization that coordinates the recycling of household packaging in Spain, has launched its Transparency Portal, a space that aims to provide public information about the organization and its activity.
The aim of the new website is to provide society, in a clear, simple and accessible way, with the most relevant information about the organisation and its domestic packaging waste management activity.
Begoña de Benito, Director of External Relations at Ecoembes, indicates that “the Transparency Portal will help us to share information and data with all the agents that form part of the packaging recycling cycle in a simple, clear and in-depth manner. With this initiative we seek to take another step forward in the open collaboration we have with all of them, promoting dialogue and transparency on an ongoing basis and, therefore, we will adapt this space to regulatory developments and users’ doubts”.
The members of the Ecoembes Transparency and Active Listening Panel, a group of experts in sustainability, responsibility, business behaviour, transparency and waste management, participated in the design process.
Technology is also part of the project as the usability of the website will be progressively increased to make it simpler, more comfortable and safer. In addition, Ecoembes has renewed the design of its website, so that the contents are now organized in a more intuitive way, also promoting integration with other sites of the organization.
