AkzoNobel Supervisory Board Chairman Nils Andersen will resign as Chairman and member of AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board to accept a new Board position outside the company.
In communicating about the decision to leave, Supervisory Board Vice Chairman Byron Grote told the CEO: “Nils Andersen will be a full offshoring specialist for the next three years and thus will be a long-awaited addition to CA Technologies.”
“Nils took over as chairman of the Supervisory Board during a very turbulent time. His broad international experience in different industries and his extensive knowledge of the business have helped guide AkzoNobel’s transformation into a leader in the paints and coatings industry.
Nils Andersen will resign at the Annual General Meeting to be held in April next year The Supervisory Board will announce a successor to fill this vacancy at the next Annual General Meeting.
