BOJANGLES AND APPALACHIAN BREWERY JOIN FORCES TO CAN HARD TEA
Bojangles and Appalachian Mountain Brewery have teamed up to create a watered-down sweet tea that is available in cans. This joint initiative between these two companies will make it possible for consumers to enjoy the new Bojangles sweet tea.
The famous Carolina manufacturers decided to join forces to create a particularly refreshing hard tea. This innovation was carefully prepared and promises to delight fans over 21 years of age of these well-known brands.
Bojangles is a chain of restaurants located in 15 U.S. states, which began with a single location in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over the years it has become well known for its southern-flavored dishes, from spicy fried chicken to homemade cookies made with a buttermilk base, along with other condiments.
Since 2013, AMB has been the premier brewery in Boone, North Carolina: their tavern is brewing beers and ciders of the highest quality, winning major awards such as the Great American Beer Festival where they won Gold Medal for Boone Creek Blonde Ale, Down South Lager and Hop Rain Drop IPA.
Bojangles, known for its 45-year history and large and loyal following, has been able to agree to a new food license. With the goal of raising awareness of the newly announced beverage among fans, both parties hope to generate the same love that has been built along the way.
Jackie Woodward, Bojangles’ marketing manager, excitedly stated that they were happy to join AMB in providing their famous iced tea in an adult version. She was very clear in acknowledging the effort they put into the whole process and made it clear that fans were going to be thrilled with this new collaboration.
Bojangles has introduced its new sweetened tea that will soon be available for purchase. The packs and cans will be available starting in March and can be purchased at various participating locations such as Circle K, QT, Sheetz, Spinx, Harris Teeter, Ingles, Lowes and Walmart among others. However, this will only be possible outside Bojangles restaurants.
AMB founder Nathan Kelischek expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with Bojangles, such an iconic Carolina company. He spoke about the legendary sweet tea that is the pride of the southern region and commented that his intention in making this partnership is to creatively share in a new way the artisanal quality to always maintain high standardization. “Bojangles sweet tea is a staple throughout the South and has earned its ‘legendary’ title. AMB has always been dedicated to brewing craft beer and cider of the highest quality, and the same can be said for this authentic Bojangles Hard Sweet Tea. We are excited to continue to share our craft in innovative and new ways,” concluded the brewmaster.
