Celebrated film and television star Sarah Jessica Parker has joined the select group of celebrities who have embarked on the world of canned and premixed cocktails. He has just introduced a new canned cocktail through the company he helped launch, ‘Thomas Ashbourne Craft Spirits’.

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress has launched the new canned and bottled beverage, The Perfect Cosmo by SJP, and it is already being marketed throughout the United States. Cocktails cost about $22 for a 375-milliliter container or $30 for a four-pack of 200-milliliter cans on Thomas Ashbourne’s website. Retail prices are about $16 and $26 respectively.

“With the help of our celebrity partners, each flavor profile was meticulously crafted and demanded the highest standards of taste, quality and sophistication. We’re here to dispel the myth that high-end custom cocktails can only be enjoyed in certain environments, by certain people. I’ve tasted some pretty extraordinary cocktails over the years and in my travels, but our Thomas Ashbourne Perfect Cosmo is among the best,” says CEO Cara Kamenev.

Celebrity-linked beverages have been a hot category in recent years, with several successful spirit brands, such as Dwayne Johnson’s Teremana tequila and Peyton Manning’s Sweetens Cove bourbon. Beverages giant Diageo Plc (DEO) has invested $1.6 billion in the acquisition of two of the sector’s leading players: George Clooney’s Casamigos tequila and Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation gin.
