Belvac Prodcution Machinery, a company involved in metal can forming and printing technologies for the two-piece can industry, will invest more than $3 million and add up to 50 new jobs in Bedford County (Virginia, USA) over the next five years.
The Lynchburg-based company is expanding production due to “increased overall customer demand for beverage can manufacturing equipment,” according to the Bedford County Economic Development Authority (EDA).
According to Belvac Executive Vice President David Mammolenti, “The location and convenience of the New London Business and Technology Center will help attract a highly skilled workforce that will help us expand our capacity to meet the growing demand of our customers.”
