Leading aluminum monobloc can manufacturer Nussbaum has just announced the achievement of DIN EN ISO 14021:2016 Type II environmental labeling certification for its two German-based production sites.
Specifically, both plants, located in Rielasingen (Baden-Württemberg) and Frankenberg (Saxony), specialize in the production of cans made from 100% post-consumer recycled aluminum. In addition, the company is one of the first to obtain DIN EN ISO 14021 environmental certification, which regulates environmental labeling and declarations and thus creates clarity and security.
The resulting Nucan-PCR cans convince with 96% lower CO2 emissions compared to cans made of primary aluminum.
