The Santos Port Authority (SPA), the state-owned company that manages the Port of Santos, Brazil launched an online query system for cargo movement statistics, called Online Statistics (EO), a Business Intelligence tool.
To show how the program works, SPA made one in order to facilitate and speed up your statistics searches. SPA’s Director of Business Development and Regulation, Bruno Stupello, explained that the great demand for detailed and quality information on cargo handling at the Port of Santos showed the need to innovate the consultation system.
“The new program provides greater reliability and agility to queries and allows users to select the parameters of their research, according to their needs. This solution will meet, with greater efficiency, the growing demand for statistical data from the Port of Santos,” he added.
The new system will remain available until the end of December. Starting in January, the information will only be in EO. The system has a summary screen with monthly and annual comparisons and management records, including by type of position.
