Loogman Group has installed a deposit machine for recyclable bottles and cans in one of its washing tunnels in Aalsmeer (The Netherlands).
In collaboration with Statiegeld Nederland, the company is one of the first car wash chains to offer this service. Customers can now easily recycle their bottles and cans and choose to keep the deposit money on their refillable cards or donate it to charity.
Consumers often take drinks on the road or buy them at gas stations, leaving empty bottles or cans in the car. These items are often cleaned in car washes, which can make it difficult to recycle them properly.
