The world’s largest canned cannabis beverage manufacturing plant is now up and running. Project manager DeltaBev began operations at the beginning of the year, establishing a strategic partnership with the CANN brand as its first production partner. Located in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, this 45,000 square foot facility stands out as the largest cannabis beverage manufacturing plant in the world in terms of capacity. Its advanced volume in both processing and packaging encompasses canning, bottling and mini-production lines.

In the construction of this facility, the quality, stability and consistency of the product has been a priority. In addition, DeltaBev focuses on preserving the potency of THC at all stages of the process. To achieve this, they employ advanced technologies such as reverse osmosis water filtration, water deaeration, in-line emulsion injection, CO2 purging and back-pressure filling, and DeltaBev is committed to maintaining rigorous manufacturing quality standards for its beverages, establishing itself as a reliable, high-quality supplier in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

As part of Blaze Life Holdings’ (BLH) vertical integration, the plant’s production capabilities extend to seamless distribution through SuLo Distro, a full-service cannabis distributor operating throughout California.

For his part, Shreyas Balakrishnan, CEO of BLH, commented: “The cannabis beverage category is far from its tipping point, and we understand the power of large-scale efficiencies within the beverage distribution supply chain. While we can’t speculate exactly when regulations will be lifted, we are prepared for when they are.”

The company’s strategic investment in the supply chain puts it in a unique position to expand into other states. In addition, with the continued push toward regulatory changes and the anticipated reclassification of cannabis by the DEA, interstate commerce in cannabis is inching closer to becoming a reality.
