Pepsico selects Pol Codina to be its new General Manager for Southwest Europe

The multinational Pepsico announced the appointment of the Spaniard Pol Codina as the new general manager for Southwest Europe (Spain, Portugal and Italy). Codina, who will take office on July 1, will take over from Narcís Roura, who will become senior vice president of Strategy and Transformation for Pepsico in Europe.

After announcing the appointment, Codina said, “I am very proud to be able to lead the Southern Europe unit after almost 20 years at PepsiCo. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the success and acceleration of the business through key levers such as our global brands, digitalization and sustainability across the value chain, always with people at the center.”

Pol Codina joined Pepsico in 2004, starting a career in marketing and sales, where he spent more than 11 years. Last year, he was appointed vice president of AFH Europe, a position in which he played a role in accelerating the Sugar Free portfolio and renewing contracts with key partners.
