Ska Fabricating selected Steve Sherman as the new CEO to lead the company. The company specializes in the construction of heavy-duty automated packaging line equipment, depalletizers, palletizers and customized conveyor systems.
Following the announcement Sherman noted, “Great companies like Ska Fabricating develop innovative products that solve real-world problems for our customers. We are relentless in our approach and customer service. We have multiple manufacturing sites that allow us to directly control our quality and delivery. It was really an easy decision to jump into this leadership role and be part of this team.”
The new CEO has more than twenty years of experience in and COO, serving private, equity, venture capital and public companies. Prior to accepting his new position at Ska Fabricating, Sherman served as global vice president of operations at Spectralink Corporation, head of global operations at Mini-Circuits and vice president at Alcatel-Lucent, among others.
Finally he noted, “When looking for a leadership position, I focus on smaller, fast-moving, customer-focused companies with a strategy and track record of growth and service. And most important to me: great people who want to build something great and lasting. We spend so much time at work, I want to work with people where I build lifelong friendships. Ska Fabricating is all of that.
