Grupo Antolin employees will receive numerous rewards every time they recycle their beverage cans. This is possible thanks to the company’s commitment to RECICLOS, the Return and Reward System (RDS) developed by Ecoembes, the non-profit environmental organization that coordinates packaging recycling in Spain.
In this way, the nearly 800 employees working at Grupo Antolin’s headquarters in Burgos, as well as visitors, will be able to recycle their beverage cans in the machine installed in the complex, thus facilitating the circularity of this waste after recycling.
“Sustainability at Grupo Antolin comes from within the business itself and from the convictions of the people who form part of the company. That is why we seek to implement actions such as the one developed with Ecoembes in which employees participate and commit themselves so directly,” says Javier Blanco, Sustainability Director at Grupo Antolin.
Precisely, by using this machine, users will receive points with which they can help improve the environment of those who need it most. For example, they will be able to donate points to the Spanish Association Against Cancer, to provide specialized psychological care to patients and their families.
In addition, as part of its sustainable business model, Grupo Antolin promotes different initiatives for the construction of a more respectful development that can offer fair and equitable growth for all people. Employee awareness is key to this commitment, as are alliances for sustainability, such as the one with Ecoembes.
