With more than 550 attendees exhibiting their technological advances, systems, products and supplies, Latamcan 2020 was an incredible success. The program of technical presentations was very varied and was divided into two separate rooms, one for the 2-piece aluminium audience and another room for the 3-piece steel audience.
TECHNICAL FORUMS.
After the success achieved during Latamcan 2020 in Sao Paulo, the technical forums have become an integral part of the program.
Luis Miñarro from HYPERION MATERIALS AND THECHNOLOGY will again be coordinating the forum in the 2piezas room and the panel of experts will be presenting their update on the topic: “Thickness Reduction: A Global Need, A Global Opportunity”.
Jack Knight of INX INTERNATIONAL INK CO. will be the panel leader in the 3-piece room and is preparing a roundtable discussion on the topic:
“The 3-Piece Packaging Manufacturing Process: What it takes to get a commercial package to the consumer.”
Additionally, each forum will include a section to discuss the “new normal” and how it may be affecting our industry.
LATAMCAN LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Honored with the Latin American Lifetime Achievement Award:
Rudi Roeslein.
Mr. Roeslein is an extremely well known person in our industry and has brought his family name to worldwide recognition.
The ceremony will be held as part of the closing dinner on Thursday, April 22nd.
