Gerard Dibb, Managing Director of Emballator UK, will assume the new position of Group CEO UK, responsible for all UK businesses and in charge of acquisitions. This is the latest change the company is making to further strengthen its strategy within the management team.

As confirmed by the company itself, after 18 successful years as managing director of Emballator Packaging, Gerard Dibb will move to the new position of CEO of the Emballator UK Group with responsibility for the entire UK Group.

“As a one-stop shop for metal and plastic packaging, Emballator’s UK unit has been successful for over 20 years. One of Gerard’s new tasks will be to focus on acquisitions, which will help us to further expand our business,” says Thomas Bergdahl, CEO of Herenco AB.

For his part, Gerard Dibb adds, “We are making some key changes that I believe will strengthen Emballator’s UK management team for many years to come.” The management team is completed by Philip Mann, with 20 years of experience at Emballator working in purchasing, sales, planning and customer solutions, who will assume the position of general manager of Emballator Packaging.

“Philip brings extensive experience to the position, and will assume direct responsibility for the metal and plastics operations. This is a well-deserved promotion,” the company says.

In addition, Christian Berger will assume Philips’ key role in purchasing as supply chain manager. Christian has extensive experience in the procurement sector.
