Constellium has made the Forbes list as one of the best companies in the world for women. Forbes recently conducted a study asking 85,000 women in 40 countries to rate their employer on criteria such as pay equity, parental leave, promotion of gender equality, and representation at the executive and board level.

Jean-Marc Germain, CEO of Constellium said after learning of this recognition, “We are honored to be considered one of the world’s leading women-focused companies. This recognition from our female employees is a tribute to all the work done by our teams.

He adds, “For us, the desire to recognize diversity and increase inclusion is embedded in our core values of safety, respect and empowerment. We recognize that we still have a long way to go, but we are committed to continuing to build a more diverse and inclusive company, which will be a central pillar of our Sustainability Strategy 2030”.

Recruiting, retaining and promoting women is one of Constellium’s top priorities. Specifically, the company offers a mentoring program for its female employees, tracks and measures recruitment, representation and pay equity around the world, and promotes a safe and inclusive work culture by offering diversity training and workshops to its employees.

It has also incorporated other benefits such as parental leave and flexible working policies around the world. In 2021, Constellium appointed two additional female directors to its Board, increasing female representation to over 40%.
