Zapata Group, a leading Mexican company in the production and sale of packaging in America and Europe, has been awarded the ESR 2020 badge, a recognition of Mexican companies that develop Corporate Social Responsibility (RSE) programs and that have this year achieved the objectives and standards necessary within the Category SME Companies. For the Zapata Group, SRSE is vital for the development of its products and services, but above all for the different communities where it is present. For this reason, it is part of the Program “Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility Measures in SMEs in the Value Chain”, which was supported by Anahuac University and the Inter-American Development Bank, “thus emoting that both customers and suppliers designed and implemented from their business philosophy to their own social responsibility measures and practices”.
The Mexican group has 13 plants distributed in 4 countries in North America, Central America and Europe. It has a commercial presence in more than 20 countries around the world. And it supplies the food, pharmaceutical, personal care, chemical, industrial, among others, markets with its various product lines, mainly packaging, made mostly of tin in addition to other materials.
