YUENGLING AND KEEP TEXAS BEAUTIFUL ANNOUNCE OFFICIAL PARTNERSHIP AND NEW CAN DESIGN

Yuengling Co. decided to partner with the Texas charity Keep Texas Beautiful to promote the maintenance of communities. To show its commitment, the 194-year-old brewery will donate $1 for every case of Yuengling Traditional Lager sold, up to a maximum of $50,000. This alliance is part of Yuengling’s commitment to give back to Texas, being the last state where its famous type of wallet is made.

From now through March 2023, Texans will see special promotional packaging on 12-pack, 12-ounce cans of Yuengling Lager throughout Texas. Adorned with the Lone Star State symbol, each can will feature a unique QR code. When scanned, consumers will learn more about Keep Texas Beautiful, a Yuengling Cleanup Day and how to make a donation.

Debbie Yuengling, who comes from the sixth-generation lineage of D.G. Yuengling & Son Inc. was honored to be able to participate with Keep Texas Beautiful in giving back to the state and its people. From their company in Pennsylvania, the Yuenglings expressed their pride in brewing beer in Texas and want to support the unity Texans have as a community. “As America’s oldest brewery, our commitment to having a beer for every taste every time reflects our love of bringing people together and having a positive impact on our communities. That’s why today, we are honored to work alongside Keep Texas Beautiful and give back to the state and the people who embody the meaning of community,” he said.

Brewed in Fort Worth, Texas, Yuengling arrived in the state with much fanfare in August 2021. Today, Yuengling’s Keep Texas Beautiful campaign marks the brewery’s first Texas-specific initiative to give back to the Texas community. To deepen its relationships with Texas fans and honor its new partnership with Keep Texas Beautiful, Yuengling will host exclusive sampling events at supermarkets and liquor stores where the limited edition cans will be available for purchase.

Yuengling was pleased to launch the first promotion specifically targeted at Texas. Pat Pikunas, the company’s general manager, emphasized that their job is not only to produce beers but also to give back to a community that is so important to them.

“We are grateful to receive Yuengling’s generous support with the launch of this campaign through promotional case and can packaging,” said Suzanne Kho, executive director of Keep Texas Beautiful. “These donations will allow us to continue to make Texas the best place to live, work and play,” concluded Kho.
