The food group Clusaga has joined forces with the A Coruña-based company Conservas Rianxeira and the Pontevedra-based companies Conservas Antonio Alonso (‘Palacio de Oriente’) and Real Conservera España, as well as with the technological entities (Anfaco-Cecopesca and TripleAlpha Innovation) in order to develop a new food project.
The innovative project, called Yieldcan 5.0, is aimed at improving the production yield and quality of canned seafood and fish with a new platform for monitoring and massive data analysis through artificial intelligence.
The initiative responds to the sector’s need for modern solutions adapted to meet the technological needs of the market while helping to reduce processes and lower costs, especially in the case of gourmet products.
The company’s data management platform will also combine advanced techniques of massive data analysis (ML) and machine learning (ML) with IoT sensor technology to support agile data collection and agile solutions applied to the canning industry.
