Yieh Corp has announced that its new aluminum can and beverage bottle factory will begin operations in June of this year in the Yangi Avlod free economic zone, located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

This project, backed by foreign investment from East Can Solutions with a capital of 90 million dollars, aims to reduce aluminum can imports and promote exports.

The plant, which will occupy 21 hectares, will generate up to 500 new jobs and will be capable of producing up to 2.2 billion cans and 650.9 million beverage bottles per year, in materials such as aluminum and PET.

It is expected that 30% of the production will be destined for the markets of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), with projected export revenues of 50 million dollars.

The facility will feature advanced technology from the USA and Europe, and will be characterized by its high level of automation, ensuring that the manufacturing process complies with established environmental standards.
