The Utah Economic Development Corporation of Salt Lake City and the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity have announced that Vobev will continue its manufacturing and distribution operations which will also generate 400 direct jobs at its Utah plant.

Established in 2019, Vobev is the first manufacturer as well as independent can filler in North America to optimize the beverage supply chain under one roof. “Vobev is supporting the local economy through the development of business relationships, taxes and local employment opportunities,” says Dan Hemmert, executive director of Go Utah.

Through the support of the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, we have established our roots and are eager to bring more opportunities to the state and continue working to establish Salt Lake as the beverage hub for North America,” said Eric Cudnohoske, general manager of Vobev.

The company occupies approximately 1.2 million square feet of industrial space. Rusty Bollow and Ryan Flint of Colliers – Salt Lake City (an EDCUtah investor) – provided location consulting services for the company.

Vobev enables new and established brands to get to market faster and encourages innovation by testing new options. Brands can benefit from can making and filling and beverage production under one roof with a 5x reduction in the supply chain. The manufacturing facility will be operational in the fourth quarter of 2021. Vobev will produce, fill and package cans, supporting a variety of beverages including waters, carbonated soft drinks, energy drinks, wine, spirits, seltzers, etc.
