VMI has launched its new generation of modular can washers, the result of a careful development process and exhaustive monitoring of its current model.
With the diverse needs of its customers in mind, flexibility was one of the main focuses of the new VMI Can Washer 2.0 design. Its most outstanding feature is its modular design, which allows the machine to be adapted to the specific requirements of each customer, offering greater control and versatility in the washing process.
The advanced software monitoring system allows the machine to operate virtually autonomously, alerting operators to potential incidents before they occur. This minimizes downtime, reduces production interruptions, and contributes to increased productivity and cost savings.
In addition to the operational benefits, the VMI Can Washer 2.0 incorporates significant advantages in sustainability, such as a notable reduction in the consumption of energy, chemicals, gas, and water. The use of field components has also made it possible to reduce the size of the electrical cabinet by 60%, while the integration of the pipes provides the facilities with a cleaner and more orderly appearance.
According to VMI, the new modular washer offers customers low ownership costs, greater automation, lower resource consumption, and multiple customization options.
The VMI Can Washer 2.0 will be officially presented at the Metpack 2026 trade fair, which will take place from May 5 to 8 in Essen, at stand 1B12.
