The International Aluminum Institute (IAI) has recently added Vedanta Aluminium as one of its members. This company is one of the world’s leading producers in the aluminum industry.
The IAI, short for the International Aluminum Institute, is the only institution representing the global aluminum production industry. Among the most prominent companies in this industry is Vedanta Aluminium, the largest metal producer in India, with an annual production of 2.29 million tons in FY23, accounting for approximately 60% of the total aluminum production in the country.
With this new position, the company is now one of the world’s leading metal producers. Its focus on the “metal of the future” has enabled the transition to more sustainable energies and supported the development of important technologies for sustainable engineering and applications. In addition, Vedanta Aluminium is an international company that distributes its products in more than 60 countries around the world. Its products are used in various industries such as automotive, construction, energy, consumer goods and packaging.
