The Aluminium Federation (ALFED) brought together the British aluminum sector on Thursday, November 13, at the Annual Business Briefing and Dinner 2025, held in Carden Park, Cheshire, in an event that combined celebration and reflection on the industry’s advances and its commitment to a more sustainable and innovative future.
More than 270 guests participated in the day, which began with the ALFED Business Briefing, focused on the annual theme “The Element of Growth: Trade, Talent, and Transformation”, addressing everything from global trade pressures to the implementation of the CBAM and the development of industrial skills.
The event culminated with the annual dinner, presented by Mark Bailey and accompanied by a lively dialogue with Frank Bruno MBE, and with the presentation of the ALFED Awards 2025, which recognize excellence throughout the UK aluminum industry.

A message of shared purpose
