The installation of a Nitrex batch nitriding/nitrocarburizing furnace has unlocked new possibilities in process efficiency and production capacity for Beymetal Alüminyum. The company partnered with Nitrex to upgrade its in-house nitriding capabilities to improve efficiency and scalability.
With a much larger furnace size and advanced technological capabilities, Beymetal increases die throughput to meet growing production demand. The NX-1015 furnace model, with a capacity of 2,000 kg, is equipped with Nitreg-controlled nitriding and Nitreg-C-controlled nitrocarburizing, designed to treat extrusion dies for aluminum profiles used in architectural applications. These technologies ensure precise control over uniform layer depths and nitriding/nitrocarburizing layer formation. This improves the mechanical properties of the extrusion dies, resulting in longer service life and higher yield per die, ultimately reducing overall tooling costs for Beymetal. In addition, the new installation contributes to a more efficient use of production resources and reduces electricity consumption.
A solution tailored for efficiency and sustainability
“This Nitrex system is the first of its kind in Izmir and adds to our impressive track record of more than 30 installations throughout Turkey,” said Utku Inan, Nitrex’s sales representative in Turkey.
